Establishment of MCRD- 1981

Establishment of MCRD. To commemorate the Consecration Silver Jubilee of Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Metropolitan, Thomas Mar Athanasius Suffragan Metropolitan and Philipose Mar Chrysostom Metropolitan Mar Thoma Church established “Mar Thoma Centre for Rehabilitation and Development (MCRD)” in  Thelliyoor a village in Tiruvalla Taluk. Navajothi- a school for the mentally retarded children was inaugurated on 15 October 1981.
