The responsibility of a people’s representative is to effectively serve the people beyond partisan interests, said Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan. His Grace was inaugurating the meeting held at Thiruvalla wherein the Marthomite members who are elected as  representatives to various Local Self Government Bodies were invited. Prof. P. J. Kurian (Former Speaker, Rajya Sabha), Adv. Mathew T. Thomas (Former Minister, Govt. of Kerala) gave main speeches and Rev. K. G. Joseph (Sabha Secretary), Rev. Thomas C. Alexander (Clergy Trustee) and Mr. P. P. Achenkunju gave leadership.
